- Hand drawn renderings and artist's sketches are produced for client approval. These drawings are completed with great detail in order to capture exactly what the client is looking for. CAD computer generated drawings, blueprints are part of this stage.
- Once the 2-dimentional concepts have been approved by the client, a 3-dimentional clay model is hand sculpted. This second stage allows the client to see exactly how the carving will appear and changes can be easily made at this time. This second step is not mandatory because our talented carvers can finish a project without this clay model, but we can provide this if our customers are requesting it.
- Upon approval, a plaster cast will be taken from the clay to provide an accurate model from which the stone will be carved. This ensures that the final carving is completely faithful to the clay model.
- Skilfully and meticulously carved with an artist's eye for detail, the finished carving converges old world craftmanship and a sense of history in the making. These works of art will be appreciated for generations to come.
